Denise Hernandez FNP has practiced in Urgent Care, Family Practice and Wound Care settings for approximately 2 1/2 years. She received her graduate Family Nurse Practitioner training at Grand Canyon University.  She then went on to have specialized training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.  She has an extensive background in Trauma and critical care nursing. She was a nurse for more than 12 years before returning to school to get her graduate degree.  She has worked in a variety of settings, including supervisory and management positions. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
