DR. Kenneth O. Anaeme 

Dr. Anaeme graduated with Honors in 1988 from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria an institution 
widely acclaimed as the top Medical School in Nigeria. 
Following a year of rotating Internship at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, he went to 
serve for one year with the Air Force Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria as a National Youth Corps 
member and practiced for two years subsequently in General Medicine in Lagos, Nigeria before 
departing to the United States to pursue a postgraduate program. 
He completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of 
Illinois in 1996 and following Board Certification, he joined a large Medical Group (Midwest 
Neopeds LLC) in Chicago, Illinois from 1996 thru 2002.  While in Chicago he was one of the first 
Physicians to enter and practice in the new field of Hospital Medicine. 
Dr. Anaeme relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in late 2002 and worked from 2002 thru 2005 
with one of the premier Hospitalist Groups in the Valley where he also had significant interaction 
with medical students and residents at St. Joseph’s Hospital (a leading tertiary care center in the 
Phoenix metro area).  He was named one of the top Resident Educators in 2004. 
In 2005, Dr. Anaeme decided to focus his practice mostly in the challenging arena of 
Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine and long term acute care.  He has been fully involved in 
this demanding field since then and has achieved top academic qualifications by becoming 
certified in the field of Wound Care by the American Academy of Wound Management as a 
Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and achieving Fellowship of the College of Certified Wound 
Specialists (FACCWS). 
Dr. Anaeme is also board certified in the field of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.  
This unique achievement makes him one of the few Physicians in the State of Arizona with this 
Subspecialty Certification. 
Dr. Anaeme provides Wound Care expertise and services to several long-term acute care facilities 
and also practices at multiple outpatient wound care/ Hyperbaric Facilities.  He has served as a 
Medical Director for prominent valley hospitals & long term acute care facilities.  He is currently 
the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine medical director at Rapid Care Centers of America.  
Through his practice, Dr. Anaeme is committed to providing superior, high quality care to a very 
challenging and unique patient population.     
In his spare time, Dr. Anaeme is an avid golfer and loves to travel, read classic books and 
watch professional football.
